Eligibility

(1)	Privately funded international students who are the national of the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
(2)	Those who will complete their master’s course at the University of Tokyo in March 2018, and will be enrolled in a doctoral course at GSFS in April 2018. Or research students at the University of Tokyo who will be enrolled in a master’s course at GSFS in April 2018.
(3)	Those whose study field is either social sciences or human studies.
(4)	Those who are able to communicate in Japanese, and interested in international cultural exchange.
(5)	Those who will not receive any other scholarships from April 2018.
(6)	Those who can follow the rules as scholarship recipient.

Amount

Amount:200,000 JPY/month
Duration: from April 2018, up to the minimum years required for completion of your program.

Apply To

Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO.
Application Form should be printed single-sided and should not be stapled.

1.	Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations, 1 original
2.	Transcript of graduate school and of undergraduate school, 1 copy

An applicant who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit other documents.
