Application Deadline	January 16 (Thu), 2014
Eligibility	(1) Students from Asian, Middle East, African countries, or from Brazil, Russia, or the Czech Republic. (2) Students enrolled in a Ph.d program at a graduate school in Japan as a regular student in the field of medicine. (3) Those who have already received this scholarship as well as who have already applied directly however faild to pass this scholarship are excluding at this time.
Amount	Amount: 2,000,000 JPY a year, 1,500,000 JPY a year or 1,000,000 JPY a year. However, those receiving funds from other sources are not eligible. Duration: 1 year from April, 2014 to March, 2015. (Those who selected can apply for extensions.)

Apply To	Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO.1. Application Form 1 original 2. Current academic transcript, as well as transcripts from the school or institution previously attended (excluding Japanese language schools), 1 copy Submit the listed two documents by January 16 (Thu). Those applicants who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit other necessary documents.
