Privately financed international students who are studying at a graduate school in Chiba prefecture, or who live in Chiba prefecture and commute to a university in neighboring prefectures. Research students who are going to be enrolled in a master or a doctoral course as of April, 2017 are eligible to apply. |

Those who are not receiving more than 48,000 JPY from other foundation. JASSO sholars are not eligible. |

Those whose spouse is a Japanese/home country government’s scholarship holder or works in Japan are not eligible. |
(4) |
Those who are able to attend seminars held by the foundation every month. |
(5) |
Those who are able to communicate in Japanese. |
