Privately financed international students from Asian countries or the Asian region who have been enrolled in a program at a Japanese University for over 1 year as of April 1, 2013. (Research students are not eligible. Research student status also does not qualify for this 1 year enrollment condition) |

Those who will actively participate in the exchange activities and events planned by the foundation. |

| Amount |
Amount: 120,000 JPY/month
Duration: 1 year from April of 2013 to March of 2014. The scholarship can be extended for another year upon review. |
