Eligibility

(1)	A non-Japanese enrolled in a Ph.d program at a graduate school in the Kanto area. This may include those who are enrolled as research students because they have gone over the standard required period as a regular student.
(2)	A student whose graduate school or laboratory, and residence are in the Kanto area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma).
(3)	A person willing to participate in AISF sponsored activities.
(4)	A person who can communicate well in Japanese since the language to be used for application forms and the interview is Japanese.
(5)	A person who does not plan to become a full-time employee or a recipient of a scholarship from other foundations during the period of receiving Atsumi Foundation scholarship.

Amount

Amount: 200,000 JPY/month
Duration: One year (April 2016 ~ March 2017 or September 2016 ~ August 2017).
