| Eligibility |

Those who are nationals of the following countries: Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Mongol, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. |

Privately founded international students having “college student” visa, who are enrolled in a master’s or doctoral course, and studying social sciences, or sciences and technology. |
| (3) |
Those who have excellent academic achievements and good personality as well as good health. |
| (4) |
Those who do not receive any other scholarships, and need financial assistance. |
| (5) |
Those who are 30 year old or younger as of April 1st, 2017. |
| (6) |
Those who can participate in the events organized by the foundation. |
| (7) |
Those who have basic Japanese language skill which are required for daily life. |
| (8) |
Those who have international understandings and are willing to contribute to interaction with communities. |
