| Eligibility |
| (1) |
Privately financed international students who will enroll in the first year of a master’s course, or will advance to the second year of a doctoral course as of April 1, 2017. |

Those who are physically fit and are of excellent academic standing and who need financial support. |
| (3) |
Those who are younger than 35 years old as of April, 2017. |
| (4) |
Those who are not receiving other scholarships. |
| (5) |
International students who are nationals of the following ASEAN countries:
Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia. |

Those who are interested in international understanding and amity, and will commit to participating in events hosted by the Foundation. |

If an applicant is selected as a candidate, he/she must fill out the application form in Japanese. |
