Privately financed international students who study at second year of master course as of April 2014, who hold excellent academic records and who need financial support. |
| (2) |
Those who receive The University of Tokyo Special Scholarship for International Students (University of Tokyo Fellowship) are not eligible. |
| (3) |
Those who are engaged in research area of “optics and advanced laser science”. “Optics and advanced laser science” refers to the advanced research on light and interaction between light and material. |

Applicants must submit the following documents to the Scholarship Team in Hongo Campus (Tel 03-5841-2520). In principle applicants should submit the documents in person, however registered mail is acceptable.
