Eligibility

(1)	Privately financed international students with Korean and North Korean citizenship, studying as a regular student. Research students are not eligible. The 1^st year students in graduate program are eligible. (Special permanent residents can apply directly.)
(2)	Those who hold excellent academic records and who need financial assistance.
(3)	Those who do not receive other scholarships, however scholarship with the amount less than our scholarship and JASSO honours scholarship are permissible.
(4)	Those who are less than 40 years old as of April 1, 2016.
(5)	Undergraduate GPA must exceed 2.7.
(6)	Those who exceed standard study term are not eligible. Exchange students cannot apply.
(7)	Japanese language skills are required.

Amount

Amount: Montly 40,000JPY(master’s course), 70, 000JPY (doctoral course)
Duration: April 2016 to March 2017 (1 year).
Doctoral students are able to extend to 2 years maximum after undergoing screening.

Apply To

Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO. Application Form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.-Application form.

1.	Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations, 1 original
2.	Transcript of graduate school and of undergraduate school, 1 copies

Those applicants who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit a
Foudation specified Application Form and other documents described in the guideline.
