Eligibility | -Self-financed foreign students who enrolled in a Master’s program and hailing from Asian countries such as China (including Hong Kong), Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar or Bangladesh.
-Those whose monthly budget is under 100,000 JPY, with over half of their income coming from part-time work. -Students studying subjects other than religion and politics. -Those who are 35 years of age or younger as of April 1 this year. -Those who can attend to the Scholarship award ceremony on July 4 (Sat), 2015. -Those who wish to work as a bridge between Japan and the mother country. -Those who can participate in events organized by the foundation. -Those who are not receiving funds from other scholarship foundations. |
Amount | Amount: Costs of tuition (2,000,000 JPY max) will be covered in addition to 100,000 JPY/month for living expenses.

Apply To | Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO by the deadline. Application Form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.
-Application Form application-e20150201 -Transcript issued by graduate school or undergraduate school (Master’s students to be from April, 2015) Those applicants who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit documents described below and other necessary documents. 1. Transcript of your Japanese Language Proficiency Test level N1. (Score must be 250 or more for the old exam and 90 or more for the current exam.) 2. Certificate of your Japanese Language Proficiency Test level N2. 3. Certificate which shows your Japanese language level is at least equivalent to JLPT level N2 or more by the supervisor with his/her seal and handwritten signature. |
