Privately financed international students studying or planning to enroll in master’s or doctoral course. Doctoral course students exceeding their 3rd year are eligible to apply. |

Those who major in natural sciences or related faculties (for details, see the guideline). |

Those who are under 30 years old for master students and those who are under 35 years old for doctoral students as of April 1, 2021. |

Those who will not receive other scholarships after April, 2021. |

Those who will be able to attend the scholarship recipient meetings held five times a year (including one 3-day overnight training trip). |

Those who desire to continue contacting with the Iwatani Foundation after the completion of scholarship. |

Those who are expected to contribute to an international understanding and amity. |

Those who are able to communicate well in Japanese. |
