| Eligibility |
| (1) |
Privately financed international students studying at a graduate school in Chiba prefecture, or living in Chiba prefecture and commuting to adjacent prefecture. Research students who are going to be enrolled in a master or a doctoral course as of April, 2019 are eligible to apply. |

Those who are not receiving more than 50,000 JPY from other foundation. JASSO sholars are ineligible to apply. |
| (3) |
Those whose spouse is a Japanese/home country government’s scholarship holder or works in Japan are not eligible. |
| (4) |
Those who are able to attend meetings held by the foundation every month. |
| (5) |
Those who are able to communicate in Japanese. |
