Eligibility

(1)	Privately financed international students who are studying at a graduate school in Chiba prefecture, or who live in Chiba prefecture and commute to a university in neighboring prefectures. Research students who are going to be enrolled in a master or a doctoral course as of April, 2018 are eligible to apply.
(2)	Those who are not receiving more than 50,000 JPY from other foundation. JASSO sholars are not eligible to apply.
(3)	Those whose spouse is a Japanese/home country government’s scholarship holder or works in Japan are not eligible.
(4)	Those who are able to attend seminars held by the foundation every month.
(5)	Those who are able to communicate in Japanese.

Amount

Amount: 80,000 JPY/month
Duration: April 2018 to March 2019
