| Eligibility |
| (1) |
Privately financed international students who study at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The UTokyo as of October 2017 as regular students or research students. |
| (2) |
Those who have excellent academic records and are motivated learners. |
| (3) |
Those who need financial support. Those who work for government institutions or private companies in their home countries, or those who receive other scholarships in the amount of more than 50,000 JPY/month are not eligible. |

Those who hold “college student” visa status. |
