Response Policies regarding Novel Coronavirus Disease Infection(Important)
Following the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus in China, there have been cases of people being diagnosed with the same virus in Japan, it can be said that the virus is spreading and this two weeks are very important time for spreading prevention.

UTokyo has released the Response Policies regarding Novel Coronavirus Disease Infection as follows:
【Events】
・All events conducted by GSFS and UTokyo headquarters will be basically cancelled/postponed.
(When unavoidable, it must be considered to be conducted on a reduced scale.)
・The diploma presentation ceremony for the university to be held at the Yasuda Auditorium on March 23rd can be attended by only the representatives of each graduate school.
* Regarding the diploma presentation ceremony held in each department, it is currently under consideration.
It will be announced on the website of GSFS, by e-mail, and Internal Frontier-Net in about a week.
・Regarding the entrance ceremony to be held at the Kokugikan on April 12th, it is currently under consideration. It will be announced by around March 26th.
【Conference/Meeting】
・Conference/Meeting are not banned uniformly, but preventive measures must be taken.
(switching to television conference, shortening conference time, wearing a mask, etc.)
【Party】
・A buffet-style party, etc. needs to be cancelled/postponed because talking to many people at a short distance in confined spaces is high-risk situation.
【Guidance/Class】
・GSFS and UTokyo headquarters are now considering new scheme and alternative measures for new student orientation.
・For students who can not attend classes that will begin in April, appropriate measures (ex. supplementary class) will be taken to avoid their disadvantages.
【Student Group Activities】
・UTokyo plans to call on student groups to consider their activities cancelled/postponed from the viewpoint of infection prevention.
【When infected person occurs】
・Professors received any health problem reports from their lab members and their families living together need to report to General Affairs Section and ask them not to come to the campus.
