Eligibility

(1)	Master’s or Doctoral course students from the USA or Canada, studying at a University as a regular student.
(2)	Those who are facing financial difficulties.
(3)	Those who are high achievers with good health and desirable attitude as scholars.
(4)	Students who reside in the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

Amount

Amount: 70,000 JPY/month
Duration: 2 years for MA studens. 3 years for Ph.D. students (4 years for students of Medical sciences)
(within the standard duration for course completion)

Apply To

Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO. Application Form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.

1.	Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
2.	Transcript of your current course (or your previous course if you have not obtained credits)

Those applicant who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit other application documents and an essay.
