Eligibility

(1)	Privately financed international students with Asian citizenship. For the nationality, see 2. 応募資格(Eligibility) in the guideline below.
(2)	International students studying or planning to enroll in a master’s or doctoral program in GSFS from April 1, 2017.
(3)	Those who will not receive any other scholarships after April, 2017.
(4)	Those who are facing severe financial difficulties.
(5)	Those who are high achievers with desirable attitude as scholars.
(6)	Those who are under 35 years old as of April 1, 2017.
(7)	Those who are able to attend three scholarship recipient meetings a year, being interested in global understanding and international friendship, and being able to contribute to these.
(8)	Those who are able to communicate in Japanese

Amount

Amount: 150,000 JPY/month
Duration: max 2 years (min. 1 year) From April 2017

Apply To

Applicants must submit the following documents to the ILO. Application Forms should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.

(1)	Application Form for Scholarship from Private Foundation: 1 Original
(2)	Academic Transcript of your current program (or your previous program if you have not obtained any credits.): 1 copy

Those applicants who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit the documents stated in the guideline.
