Eligibility
(1) Privately financed international students from Asian countries who are studying at, or allowed to be enrolled in a graduate school in Japan as a regular student with college visa status.
(2) Those who are 34 years old or younger at the time of application.
(3) Those who are not receiving scholarships from other parties.
(4) Those who have good academic performance, and need a financial assistance.
(5) Those who do not receive other scholarships.
(6) Those who have Japanese language proficiency certificate TOPJ with advanced C level (JLPT with a similar level also accepted).
Amount Duration: April 2016 to March 2017 (1 year)
Amount : 60,000 JPY/month (Master student), 80,000JPY/month (Doctor student)
# of applicants to be recommended All applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria would be recommended.
Apply To Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO.
Application form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.

1. Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations, 1 original
2. Transcript of graduate school and of undergraduate school,  1 original and 1 copy
3. Application Form (Foundation specified), 1 original and 1 copy
4. Recommendation letter (paper size A4), 1 original and 1 copy
5. Certificate of Enrollment or Certificate of Admission,  1 original and 1 copy
6. Residence card, 2 copies (or  Certificate of Residency, 1 original and 1 copy)
7. Research plan (Size of A4),  1 original and 1 copy
8. Postcard issued by JP Post to notify the result, 1 sheet
9. Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency, 2 copies
For details, please refer to the Guideline.Those who pass the first screening will be interviewed end-March at Amagasaki in Hyogo
prefecture. Transportation fee should be paid by applicants.
