Eligibility

(1)	Those who took the N1 Level Japanese Language Exam held in July or December of 2014, and passed with a score of 170 or better (135 or beter for those whose native language is not Chinese or Korean).
(2)	Self-financed international students studying Japanese language, culture, or literature or are training to become Japanese language instructors (or are enrolled in a program closely linked to these areas), enrolled in a regular program at a graduate school.
(3)	Those receiving less than 60,000 JPY per month from other sources of financial aid.

Amount

Amount: 50,000 JPY/month
Duration: Maximum of 2 years from April 2015

Apply To

Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO.
Application Form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.

1.	Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations, Original
2.	Transcript of graduate school and undergraduate school, 2 copies
3.	Foundation specified application form (in Japanese)
4.	One photograph (taken within 6 months, 4×3 cm, taken from the shoulders up, no headware) pasted to the application form.
5.	Copy of the results of your the Japanese Language Proficiency Exam, taken in 2013.Application documents will be submitted to the foundation.
